Allison Lehrke, MA, LMFT
Allison is an independent contractor and is the owner of Lehrke Therapeutic Services LLC. She works with clients of any age, gender, and background and believes in meeting people where they are and taking them where they want to go. Allison believes in providing a trusting, and intimate experience where clients are able to open up and share freely. She takes a nonjudgmental approach with therapy and believes mental health symptoms may surface when people experience an adverse event or events. Allison believes in exploring the family-of-origin relationships and patterns that manifest in this system. She likes to explore how past relationships impact current relationships. Allison is eager to hear your life story and believes everyone is unique and capable of change.
Allison’s professional experience includes outpatient therapy working with individuals, couples, and families. Allison has experience providing in-home therapy serving children, adolescents, and families from various ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. Allison has clinical experience working in residential and day treatment settings at St. Joseph’s Home for Children and Hazelden Foundation. She enjoys working with individuals and families who struggle with alcoholism and addiction.
Allison has a Master’s degree from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She has completed training in early childhood interventions (i.e., DC 0-5) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She also provides EMDR.
Allison see clients in-person and virtually at the Chanhassen location.
