Clinical and Developmental Services (CDS) is a new and growing multi-disciplinary community of private practitioners in the Twin Cities west metro, with physical locations in Waconia, Edina, and Chanhassen. As healthcare and the needs of people have rapidly changed, CDS has responded with a focus on high quality services and ongoing collaboration between providers. CDS contractors are independently licensed and come from different training backgrounds and disciplines - they provide mental health services (psychological assessment, neuropsychological testing, developmental evaluations, therapy/counseling) and forensic services.

Testing & Evaluations: Effective neuropsychological, developmental, and forensic evaluations require the clinicians to have extensive training in cognitive theory, neurocognitive correlates, relationships between medical conditions and psychological functioning, the role of environment and family systems, appropriate development (into adulthood), adaptive functioning, how to accurately assess specific skills, the selection of best measures, and diagnostic accuracy (as informed by the most current research). Evaluations done through CDS contractors are comprehensive and ethical, and objective test scores and professional standards guide clinical judgement. Counseling and Therapy: Individual, group, and couples therapy are provided for children, adolescents, and adults through CDS contractors for a wide variety of concerns. These services aim to help individuals and families improve their personal experience, their functioning in life, and their performance in school or work. Services through CDS can be paid for privately or through billing insurance. The following insurances are accepted:
